The major research and development efforts in AgentSheets, Inc. are focused on two projects funded by Phase I SBIR and Phase II SBIR grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF):
- C5:Distributed Simulations for Handhelds: using wirelessly connected handheld devices to run and author distributed simulations for lifelong learning applications including K-12, secondary education and training. A compelling example application is Mr. Vetro, the simulated human being with organs distributed on handhelds.
- Mobility Agents for People with Cognitive Disabilities: using wireless handheld computers as customizable prompting devices that enable people with cognitive disabilities use public transportation.
