Hill Climb Action

Definition: The Hill Climb action causes an agent to move in the direction where an Attribute has the greatest value, in the case of ties, the agent will move randomly among the directions which were tied for the highest value, if no adjacent agents have the attribute, the agent will not move.

The attribute upon which the agent will "Hill Climb" is displayed in the action's text field. The for or eight way parameter determines whether the agent will "Hill Climb" in only four directions or in all eight directions.

Parameters: attribute, four or eight way
Example: The Ghost agent in the Pacman game uses the hill climb actions to track the Pacman agent by moving in the direction where the p Attribute is the greatest.
