Valid Method Names

When a method is named in an On trigger, or a method is called via the Make or the Broadcast action, you need to make sure that the name you are providing is a valid one. Here are the rules for giving valid names to methods:

• Method names need to be unique
• Every character in the name needs to be an alphanumeric character (0-9, a-z, A-Z). A name can also contain dashes (-), underscores (_)
• Spaces in the name will be replaced with dashes (-)
• Method names cannot be the same as existing system methods, which should not be overwritten. System methods include some Visual AgenTalk actions, such as "Move" and "Broadcast".
