Hear Condition

Definition: The Hear condition uses the Apple Speech Recognition to check if the specified text is being spoken into your machine's microphone.

If the speech recognition software detects the specified word or phrase being spoken, then this condition is true. Otherwise, it is false.

The Hear condition works only if the Apple Speech Recognition is installed on your machine and it is turned on using the Tools | Start Speech Recognition menu option.

Example: See the Mojo simulation, a voice-controlled Web portal.
Ristretto Information: This condition will not operate in Ristretto-generated applets since there is no support for speech recognition in Java.
