Sound Action

Definition:

The Sound action plays the sound indicated in its Sound parameter.

The Sound action also lets you adjust the pitch and the volume of the sound by setting these parameters manually in the Formula parameters provided in the action. It also allows you to specify whether to play the sound synchronously or asynchronously using the Checkbox parameter.

This action has access to the same sounds as the Play Sound command.

Parameters:

sound, formula, checkbox

Example:

The Sonifier agent in the Avalanche simulation plays a sound in different pitches and volume depending on the number of mud particles moving.

See the Avalanche simulation.
