Say Action

Definition:

The Say action speaks the text located in its String parameter using the Macintosh speech synthesizer.

Specify the voice used by the command from choices in a Select a Voice dialog box.

The Shark agent in the Fish Tank simulation talks to the Fish agent before eating it.

Ristretto Information:

In Ristretto-generated applets, the Say action just prints the text in the message box at the bottom of the applet since Java does not yet support speech synthesis.
